In September 2018, the project that TDC Polska carried out as part of the project for Torwar Hall in Warsaw was completed. We delivered a LED SCEO® LED SCREEN with a diode spacing of 4.8 mm, dimensions of 6000×3000 mm and a total area of 18 m2. The screen resolution is 1248 × 624px.
Our duties also included the design and implementation of a dedicated suspended structure with appropriate equipment for content management. The VDWALL video processor was used for image scaling, equipped with two transmitting cards from the renowned NovaStar company. A dedicated SCEO®BOX computer serves as a multimedia player, and together with our proprietary SCEO®SOFTWARE, it is possible to control the signal from anywhere with internet access. As an alternative video source, we provided the Lenovo Ideapad computer.
The delivered screen is equipped with bolt locks, thanks to which it creates its own supporting structure. To mount the screen on the hall wall, we used a Q40 truss, two chain winches with a lifting capacity of 1000 kg each, winch wall brackets and additional safety slings. In order to connect and run the LED screen, we provided a set of signal and current wiring that enables powering the LED screen. The preparation of the power supply and control infrastructure included: current cabling with a power switchboard, signal cabling with fiber optic cabling to two places in the hall and a set of fibre optic converters.
