Multimedia information terminals, the so-called interactive kiosks using the latest technologies currently have unlimited applications. These touch-sensitive devices are designed to work both outdoors and indoors. Interactive kiosks are used in many areas of everyday life, they are an indispensable source of information at airports, railway stations, information points, libraries, public administration offices and hospitals. They function as an interactive map, ticket machine, and even a self-service cash register. Interactive kiosks allow quick access to information, but also act as an advertising carrier that provokes interaction with the recipient. As a result, the conveyed content becomes more attractive and focuses the recipient’s attention for longer than traditional, analogue advertising carrier.
Interactive kiosks are LCD or LED displays connected to a built-in computer, which can be located in various types of buildings. Depending on the purpose of the interactive kiosk, the housing can take the shape of a vertical or horizontal totem, in an exhibition housing, or even fit into an openwork structure. At the customer’s request, the device can be equipped with a touchscreen display that can be easily integrated with a computer and existing infrastructure. Optional equipment of the SCEO® Interactive kiosks are various types of peripheral devices either built-in externally or built in at the customer’s request. Peripheral devices include cameras, barcode readers, chip and magnetic card readers, printers, payment terminals, and even eye trackers. The use of our intuitive devices is very simple, even a person unfamiliar with innovative technologies is able to use the interactive kiosk without any problems. All components are selected individually for the intended application and personalised expectations of our customers.
SCEO® interactive kiosks are created with our customers in mind. The customer can choose the perfect product, with any shape, colour, size or built-in functions. We offer a multimedia kiosk in a version for industrial facilities with increased resistance. The touch panels are adapted to work in difficult conditions, therefore they are characterised by high resistance to dust, dirt or flooding with water. An additional advantage is the panel adapted to use with gloves. The touch function can also be realised using PCAP, IR or SAW overlays, which are ideal for industrial environments.
