LED screens for ZDF TV studio, Mainz, Germany
In summer 2015, we delivered two high definition SCEO® videowall screens to the studio of German public broadcaster ZDF. One of the videowalls was placed on a mobile structure, allowing it to be used in any of the broadcaster’s studios and adapted to any set design. The walls themselves were equipped with the SCEO® ANTI MOIRÉ filter, which eliminates to a large extent the moiré effect created when recording an LED screen with a TV camera. Additionally, the SCEO® ANTIFLICKER technology has been used, reducing the effect of flickering in the camera.
The use of both filters and the extremely precise joining of the cabinets allow for obtaining an image of a quality close to reality.
