Transparent Screen for PZU
In March 2020, TDC Polska delivered a transparent LED screen for Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń (i.e. Poland’s biggest and oldest insurance company) in Warsaw. The screen, with a total area of 36 m2, enables the transparency of the glass display inside the building.

The supplied SCEO® LED SCREEN with a pixel pitch of 2.8/5.6 mm and dimensions of 12000×3000 mm, which enabled the creation of a display with an impressive resolution of 4244×1056(528) px, enables transparency to be maintained at 50%. The dedicated structure was designed to fit perfectly into the glass display. The project also included a content management and distribution system, which consists of two NOVASTAR LED controllers, each with a 2.3Mpix capacity, and a digital signage player with pre-installed software to manage the displayed image. Using two independent video outputs, it is possible to distribute content in the form of two 2122×1056 pix signals, which in a synchronised way fill the entire native resolution of the transparent LED screen.
